SHEET S-206INTERIOR · HOME RENOVATIONS
Home renovations on Staten Island
From one floor to the whole house, down to the studs if needed. One general contractor running every trade, with one schedule and one point of contact.
Whole-Home & Gut Renovations
Scope of work
A whole-home renovation is a coordination job. The tile setter can't start until the plumber passes rough inspection, and the painter can't start until the drywall is taped and sanded. As the general contractor, we own that sequence, run the schedule, and stay your one point of contact from demo to the final walkthrough.
We take on interior renovations of houses, two-families and apartments: wall removals and new layouts, new drywall, electrical and plumbing upgrades by licensed trades, kitchens, bathrooms, floors, doors and trim, and paint. Owners who've used us for a renovation mention that the price was fair and the process was smooth, and that's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Renovating Staten Island's housing stock
Every era of house. Staten Island has 1890s Victorians on the North Shore, mid-century capes and ranches across the middle of the island, and 1980s–2000s attached and semi-attached two-families in the south. Each has its own predictable surprises behind the walls. We price contingencies honestly instead of hiding them.
Removing walls. Opening a kitchen to a living room often means a load-bearing wall. That requires a licensed engineer or architect and a DOB filing, and we build to their drawings.
Renovating with tenants or family next door. In two-family homes, we plan utility shutoffs, noise and dust containment around the occupied unit.

FAQ
Home renovations questions
Do you work with my architect?
Yes. When the job needs drawings and DOB filings, we build to your architect's or engineer's plans. If you don't have one, we can recommend professionals we've worked with.
Can we live in the house during the renovation?
For phased projects, often yes. We set up dust walls, keep one bathroom working where possible, and sequence the work by area. Full gut renovations usually go faster and cleaner if the house is empty.
How do you handle surprises behind the walls?
We put realistic allowances in the quote for the kind of house you have, document anything we find with photos, and price changes in writing before doing the work.
