Interior painters on Staten Island
Walls, ceilings, trim and doors for homes, apartments and condos. A quote the day after the walkthrough, and a crew that cleans up like it's their own place.
Interior Painting
Scope of work
Interior painting is what most of our reviews talk about. People mention how fast the quote came, how easy scheduling was, and that the place felt like a new home afterward. The method behind that is simple: walk the space, write a clear quote, then do the prep properly. That means patching, sanding, caulking and priming before the color goes on.
We paint occupied homes and empty apartments between tenants, single rooms and whole houses. For condos and co-ops, we handle the building's certificate of insurance (COI) and work-hour rules (see condo & apartment renovations).
What's included
- On-site walkthrough and written quote, usually the next day
- Furniture moving and covering, floor protection and masking
- Drywall and plaster patching, skim-coating where needed
- Caulking trim gaps and sanding glossy surfaces
- Stain-blocking primer over water stains and smoke
- Two finish coats on walls; ceilings, trim and doors as quoted
- Kitchen cabinet painting with bonding primer and enamel
- Daily cleanup and a final walkthrough with you
Local conditions
Painting homes and apartments around NYC
Plaster walls. Many Staten Island and Brooklyn homes built before the 1950s have plaster rather than drywall. Plaster cracks behave differently. We cut out, tape and skim them so they don't telegraph back through the new paint.
Apartments and condos. Elevator reservations, building work hours, and COIs naming the condo board and managing agent are routine for us. We'll coordinate directly with your super or management office.
Move-in and turnover painting. Landlords and owners between tenants need a fast, clean turnaround. We schedule around closing dates and lease starts.

Sign-offs on this work
Highly recommend Angel for painting and contracting work. Professional, responsive, easy to communicate with, and very flexible with scheduling. He handled all the condo COI insurance requirements smoothly and made the whole process stress-free. The quality of the work was excellent at a very reasonable price. After the painting was completed, it honestly felt like we were moving into a completely new home. We’re extremely happy with the results and will definitely hire him again for future projects
Engjel and his team are amazing! I needed to repaint my apartment - he was very responsive, came to do an onsite assessment and gave me a quote the day after. He was able to do the work quickly and super professionally. We are really happy with the results - the place looks so much better than before. He was also just such a joy and easy to work with. Reasonably priced - highly highly recommend!!!

FAQ
Interior painting questions
How fast can you give me a painting quote?
After the on-site walkthrough, we usually send a written quote the next day.
Do you provide a COI for my condo or co-op?
Yes. We issue certificates of insurance naming your building, board and managing agent as the building requires, and send them to management before work starts.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No. We move and cover furniture, protect floors, and put everything back. Please put away small valuables and wall art.
What paint do you use?
Premium interior acrylics from major manufacturers. We match sheen to the room: flat or matte on ceilings, eggshell or matte on walls, semi-gloss or satin on trim and doors, and scrubbable finishes in kitchens, baths and kids' rooms.
